Bass Swimbait

Brand new swimbait setup?
I am new to swimbaits, so you've only used a small 2 oz and the lowest in my bar low. But now I want to use larger and plan on using a rod guide Okuma swimbait select (2 oz-10 oz) and a abu c4. You think it's a good setup?
Okuma are not all "low quality. Okuma reels have a few really good out there, not sure about the rods. It should do well for you, but if you've had enough I went with a Shimano, St. Croix, G. Loomis (a bit pricey, D), or anything that has a good reputation. Okuma I do not see a good reputation "yet." If they start out with a fresh new line of quality products that could see into the future. The C4 is a good reel, some said that the drag is weak (although many species of large catfish and others are trapped in their 14 lbs drag), but with a simple drag-hand to fix the problem. There is a bit of drag washers you can get for cheap (under $ 20 most of the time) that will run your drag to 22 pounds. I do not necessarily think much is needed to fish for Bass, but if you like I understand that then.
