Fishing rods

Choosing the right rod for fly fishing.

Fishing rods are different from normal bait and spinning rods. The come in lengths of 7 feet to 15 feet.

Usually rods over 12 feet 6 inches are "two hands" and is used for salmon fishing or water saltwater fly.

Choosing the right rod for you should be your top priority when learning to fish. You should always ask your self these questions.

First, how much am I willing to spend? Always keep this in mind as bars can range from a few dollars to thousands. If your first rod not spend too much time locking find this is not the hobby for you and your left sitting there with a new expensive rod used only once.

What I will be fishing? Your rod should suit your target species. That means that if the salt water or salmon fishing or fishing, pike have a solid bar with thick line. If you want to fish for trout then a lighter rod and line is sufficient.

What kind of water I was fishing? If your going to be fishing small lakes and streams, then a bar of 7 to 9 feet with a line # 4.7 would be best. If your going to be fishing large rivers or lakes then a bar between 9-11ft 6in is a good option.

For saltwater fishing, then specialized corrosion-proof equipment is needed. Saltwater rods are more expensive than normal Fishing rods. That do not rust, which is important for obvious reasons. Fly Fishing Reels Saltwater Fly are also different from the normal coils, since they are mostly all metals that need to be treated different to stop oxidation.

Sections of the bar. Canas break into smaller pieces for transport. Some believe that the fewer pieces the better the rod while others think that it is irrelevant to the strength or the ability to cast the rod. Has not been demonstrated so do not worry about how many copies are in the bar that is bought and will not let buying a scion.

After finding the right bar for you then have to match a line that is fairly easy. Just look over the handling and use of recommended weight in the line of Rod.

Now is the time to start fishing. I have other items on the choice of flies and casting, etc., which can be useful if you want to check out.

I wish all the best lines and tighter.
