my cats a pain in the bum?
My cat is a pain in the ***?
Right, cleo my lovable little shite, Is a pain, ive tried everything, scratching posts other cats, cat nip, citrus spray naughty spray locking her out everything!! but she howls if i lock her out, plays up allllll night, and is just mad is there anything anything at all i can give her. do not suggest another cat, it will not work and i do not have the space!! Im at my last tether!!!!!!
Id like to point out for the people who think im not looking after my cat, that i love my cat very much, I do look after her, spnd alot of time with her, tried training her(she had lessons for pete sake) I do spend time plying with her, etc etc and i will not give her up, i love her to much for that, and if i was going to give her up, what was the point of me getting her in the first place?? She just very hyperactive and all i want is some suggestions to calm her down!!!! and not some critics saying i should give her up!
Welcome to the world of cats! I know just what you mean about loving her, and yet thinking she is a little shite! You don’t say how old she is, but if she is still young, she will probably grow out of it, as most of them eventually do. Until then, the only thing you can do is to try and wear her out every night, by playing a few games with her. Making her run around a lot, chasing fluffy toys is a good way to go about it. I have had scores of cats over the past 30 odd years, and believe me, most of them were a pain in the *** for a long time! Most of mine are now too old to have the energy for such games, but I have a four year old Maine Coon who still thinks she is a kitten, and still acts like your little one does. I hope you are able to calm her down, or get used to her behavior, until she does grow out of it herself. Strangely enough though, I think, like me, once she does calm down, you will miss the playfullness.
