Lure Vision
A possible “Flash sighting”?
about 2 hrs ago, I laid some scraps of steak out near the edge of my uncle farm {this might help the livestock} in order to lure “Flash” out. Flash has been known to go after the livestock, he has a scar on his nose and at one time according to my uncle, he killed a coyote. Aside from my camera, night vision goggles {my uncles} and my ipod {I hope to record a wolf howl} I’ve been watching and waiting. I can’t help but wonder, if Flash is a lone wolf or is he a pack member, does he have pups and most of all, how he got the scar on his nose. Is what I’m doing a possible death wish?
If you care about the wolf’s life, don’t feed it! It will associate humans with food, especially if it’s a lone wolf (it will have to look for easy food sources because it has no pack to hunt with) and either continue to kill livestock with more frequency, start going through garbage, and possibly even attacking children that they perceive as prey items! With all of that, there will be a target on that wolf’s back up until the day they bring it down, and people, especially children, could be hurt before they do catch it/kill it.
If you want to see a wolf, go to a zoo. I’m sorry if that sounds harsh… but it’s best to avoid any unpleasant situations.
