What type of line can be used for Alaska and pike?
You can only bring a rod and reel, and there is a high population of both pike and pike. Do not want to scare the walleye, pike do not want to cut my line, and taking my lures! I'm leaning towards a braid 15 lbs … Too visible to Alaska?
If I were you reel me some 6 / 20 Braid. (I like Power Pro, but there are many good ones out there braids) Bring economic fluorocarbon in 25lb and 10lb class (10 pounds for the Walleye and Pike to 25lb). Fluro cheap?? "Berkley Vanish" works well as leadership material, (not so good line on your reel).
