Almost all ice fishermen have their own choice of lure used in all the lakes that fish in. Here are some common methods and baits used in ice fishing:
• Templates: These lures come in different sizes and shapes, are usually cumbersome to bounce around the bottom. Lighter templates attract fish to fall through the water to a different rate. Templates can be used along with baits or only templates can be used to attract fish. They are usually bright and brilliant colors to attract to fish with his movement in the water. These lures are long lasting and can help grab a bunch of fish before having to replace them.
• Tails: You can connect these to the spoons and spinners or use them as is as decoys. Are made of plastic and add actions to reduce fishing drop.
