A question on the Manistee River and rainbow trout.?
I'll be fly fishing the Manistee River in Michigan in late August for rainbow trout. Does anyone have some good advice on fly patterns to use. We expect more than egg patterns.
The patterns of the eggs will be very important, caught many in those patterns. Another thing to keep in the table is both light and dark, such as patterns of attraction, Halloween or black Caddis Dare Devil GP. A pattern of shrimp in the Great Lakes is not a bad thing to anybody. Bugger chenille in light or dark or both are also good. Color change until the skunk experiment green ass butt ads.
