How should a bait tube connected for use with a platform drop shot?
I've always used heads specifically designed template bait tube (as shown in the image linked below). I've been reading more about the platform left and found the bait tube was suggested the lure of plastic of choice for use with this device. I guess the weighted head type template is not a good way to connect the tube bait as already has the weight at the bottom, so how do I hook the bait tube in this situation? http://www.landbigfish.com/images/store/PBB-TubeJigheads.jpg
Insert a light (1 / 16 to 1 / 8 ounce) can lead head hook template with a 2 / 0 in the hollow body (push the eye through the plastic template) put him in line and allow light to the lower spiral, like a dying bait. You must drop the bait in the total margin line for the presentation. Allow to stand at the bottom, then gently lift the rod tip until you feel the bait. If you feel "funny" (ie, spongy, weighs a little more or less), set the hook! Lift and turn once or twice, then shake. Happy fishing
