How does your tree can survive the harsh weather conditions
In most of the country is still the dead of winter. However, in some places, like here in the desert Southwest, the warming weather starts to play tricks on Spring budding trees and plants. They think it's time to wake up, when in reality it is very safe.
In my own garden, I have an old peach tree that produces the most wonderful almost softball size peaches. And until recently, rarely has the chance to see you do it beyond the flowering stage.
As sure as the first hot day wake the old tree in a display of absolute rose, so would probably put an end to spring freeze.
But then a day ago Springs ….. I had a great idea.
It was a little late, but still very fortunate that I took the first warm days of spring to put the lights down and Christmas. Because I had such lights in their hands and looked at that beautiful pink tree into his glory, a light bulb in my head.
Hmmm ….., you're thinking I'm thinking? I'm sure they are and it works.
Since then I have been able to get most of my flowers to the point of fighting birds and insects June. However, fighting against birds and insects of June will be another full article.
While I am more comfortable to grow more trees fruit now, I think this method still works well for me because I only have a few trees. I'm not sure what practical, profitable, or easy would string Christmas lights through more than a few trees.
If you ever use this method, use old-fashioned bulbs base rate and not the little twinkling lights. They put off more heat. Also, if you live in an area where the climate is harsher than here in the desert, may be useful to place a plastic sheet or a tarp over the trees and lights.
While there are other ways to protect your trees and plants from freezing, I just wanted to share this with you.
