What are good methods of fishing for trout than fly fishing?

I go to the Hiwassee soon with some friends. They do not Fly Fish, and they do not have enough time to learn. Will they be able to attract a Zebco Trout?

I use Blue Fox spinners and have the trophies on the wall and trout in the freezer to prove it. In most streams and rivers of gold which the size of 2 but also keep in sizes 1 and 3 in other colors. I have been using for over 20 years. Just take some sunken logs and rocks that the trout may be hiding behind and try to make them move like a minnow trying to escape, just move slowly so you can catch trout. Want to make the blade spin, but trying to reel in as slow as you can get away with it without hooking them. Try work deep enough, but do not touch the bottom or lost.

Trout Fishing Streams

Can you remember the good ole days "of trout fishing streams loaded with trout just beautiful. I remember a trip in late autumn in which the Pentwater river fishing on the west side of Michigan and attach a nice big brown trout. I found this fish as beautiful as it was a brown trout native born and raised in the River. This fish is a fish not planted. With its bright orange spots and all the other beautiful colors I have brown native I dared not kept him. As the fish came near me with my bent nose pliers and carefully remove the hook. Another thing I forgot to mention is that they always bend the tab down on all my flies so that you can release them easily.

I remember years ago used to plant a rainbow in the different streams. I was fishing the Au Sable River just below a dam called Bamfield Dam, northwest of Glennie Michigan. This river is large enough in this area, but during the warm summer rain would not shut the door on the dam, leaving only a little water to flow through. As the water receded would pools along this area. I noticed a fly hatch was taking place, because every place I looked I could see these growing rainbow flies. When ever I hook would throw me a small rainbow trout and I'm going to release. I thought it was so many that after a while my arm got tired and let my back cast down and touch the water behind me. A couple of times when this happened there were so many fish they would catch the fly behind me. I had just started fishing and I thought then fun.

My son Denny and was doing some trout fishing in the spring of Au Gres River just north of M55 opening day of trout season one year. When my son and I went into the river to fish I have found fishing 200 yards upstream of rainbow trout fishing. The fishermen had been his most in the morning and had caught nothing at all. As my son entered the stream Denny gentlemen told to leave the head and give it a try. This was a nice race, deep enough and with some obstacles in it. Denny t5hat I had been when it comes to deep holes should be made to the bottom of the holes or not be successful in the capture of the rainbow trout hanging in is very strong. You may lose some lures but that's the only way to fish. When Denny finally landed the fish headed back to the stream and made another cast in the same place as the capture and "Wham" other steelhead exploded in the air and the fight was on. I looked around at the guy who was fishing the hole and gently folded and left his staff without saying a word.

These are just a few examples of what I remember fishing for trout and I'm sure I can reach more. If trout fishing I'm sure that may come to mind the flow past about trout fishing.
