My father taught me to Fly Fish when I was 6 years old then tie flies when I was 10.
Tropic Bay Fly Fishing in the Gulf of Mexico
P. Ross, no journalist Banana Staff
Tropic Bay operates along Nature Coast of Florida Gulf of Mexico. The area is a little-known eight-county coastal inshore areas consisting of preserves and bird sanctuaries, with little development. This is unusual for Florida and is perfect for running Tropic Bay fishing operations. The fly saltwater fishing / guide service is driven by Captain Pat Horrigan, a certified IGFA fly-fishing guide. There are only 200 as guides in the world with that distinction and it is with many years of experience and invitation of the International Game Fish Association.
Nature Coast has miles of pristine flats and marshes fed by crossing streams and springs underground. This makes for a very healthy estuarine system along the coast and is untouched by pollution and the current situation and at sea and away northward in the Gulf of Mexico.
The floors are full of life and is very common to see a variety of sea turtles, crabs, dolphins, exotic birds and a wide selection of fish. Tropic Bay specializes in fly fishing and offers instruction for beginners as well as providing high quality gear customers. Fish species for fly fishing are, tarpon, permit, snook, redfish, Crevalle jacks, spotted sea trout, cobia, flounder, ladyfish black drum, bluefish, pompano and sharks. This is an online sports game and fish are all found on the floors according to the season.
For non-fishermen, Tropic Bay offers a guide service photos. Photo-artists and nature photographers alike have enjoyed this wildlife paradise, and shutter bugs and tourists. There are plenty of accommodation with new hotels in the area and a favorite Tropic Bay is a touch of old Florida. The Inn, in the Gulf is right on the Gulf of Mexico white sand beach, entertainment and docks, where you will board a boat Tropic Bay.
