How I can fix my guide fishing reel?

My father broke down while fishing a couple of months ago, and now if I roll across the line goes to a place. It's a $ 140 Abu Garcia. I really want it fixed. I searched on Google this and get no answer. I do not know anyone to make and send back would cost only $ 20 you look, plus more money for parts and get it fixed. (This is not the actual reel) My father used to pay for it … Of course its a "reel cheap piece of shit" and its not worth fixing for me, but my siblings 6 years $ 80 shimano had to be fixed in a few days ….

I think it will be sent to get it fixed. Contact with the company. Maybe they will do for free. In addition, your parent must pay.

Which of these wheels bait is best and why?

Abu Garcia Revo STX or Shimano Curado 200? In addition, I have been trying and feel Pflueger Summit that pretty good … worth considering?

"Pro" for the Summit: The Summit Pflueger has an excellent ratio (7.1:1) for Spinnerbait Fishing. If your looking for a good spinnerbait / Buzzbait spool / topwater that this could be your choice. Sounds like it's a well built reel! "With" for the Summit: This is a "new design" reel. There may still be "wrong." How quickly a gear ratio is not suitable for fishing with Soft Plastic / worming. "Pro" Shimano Curado Shimano Daiwa / are the main manufacturer of reel. Cured into the relationship different transmission. Cured of being in the "scene" long enough to have worked their "mistakes" out. I personally think Shimano is the best reels made today with the exception of a few. "With" Curing: The current model does not have "all the bells and whistles designed reels many new ones have in that price range. "Abu Garcia Pro." Absolutely gorgeous Swedish design reel Abu Garcia is as reliable as any other "platform top "brand reel, IE, Shimano / Daiwa." With the Abu Garcia ": Another" New Design "reel. Personally, I would not buy a car from a company that just "changed their line of cars. On the other hand, sometimes "new design" makes the difference in quality! If I were you I would go for the "safe bet" and get a Shimano Curado or SAVE and buy 2 Shimano CITIC! When buying $ 200 + reels you want to ensure to obtain a durable, no problems! Try each one in the store before buying. (I hope at least get a decent bar reel for $ 200 +! Suggest a G. Loomis!) Lol I hope this helps? Good luck!

Abu Garcia Revo STX for musky fishing?

I've always used my Abu Garcia Revo STX for bass fishing. I musky fishing a lot more and not want to spend more on a reel for a higher gear ration to pull double denim. Should I put the line of musk in the STX revolution or buy a new reel with a ratio slightly lower transmission, such as the number of records?

If it pulls the lighter line in its REVO now to put in some things heavy musk, how do you expect to launch lighter lures for bass? Get the registry.

Time to make Fishing Lures at home

Fishing lures are not difficult to make provided you have a little patience and creativity. Here are some simple and easy tips to make your lures in the home of the materials you can buy cheap or already have at home.

Spoons

Spoons, as its name implies, can be realized from various sizes and shapes of spoons. Try going to a second store and bought a collection of various sizes of metal measuring spoons. Using a hand torch or a propane torch, heat the metal spoon, then using a hammer or pliers, gently flatten the spoon until you have a uniform shape. After it has cooled completely, the handle of the spoon can be cut. With a small drill bit, drill a hole in the top (handle) and the lower end of a spoon. Attach a swivel and a leader in the top hole and a hook on the bottom hole. The spoon can be painted with any paint or metal can be silver left. additional patterns, stripes or designs involved can be added.

Minnows and crankbaits

Some fishing tips on the drums please.?

Hi, I'm a little confused about the difference between front and rear drag resistance of coils and what type of fishing each should be better / for. I've heard to float a fishing reel is locked against the best but I have not seen many people with them, this is true and if so why? Thank you very much in advance.

I find that the front drag reels are more sensitive than rear drag reels are also best when going for the big fish as the reel is more robust. Although if you want to change lines with reels grag rear The coil will have to press a button and change the reels drag reel easily.Front have to undo the drag setting for the launch of my Mitchell spool.Saying 300 (over 30 years old and still going strong) have a button on the front to get the spool and front drag. Fly Fishing Rod – Reel regular line?

"I can use a" regular "fishing reel and line of a fishing rod?

It works well (amazing actually), only the serious trout fishermen told otherwise. Purists … I use an eight and a half meters high, five or six Eagle Claw weight rod with a reel Shakespeare Triggerspin it loaded with four kilos of Maxima mono. I use it to launch the Float N 'Fly to the type of fish, sometimes use it for night owls in a float for bluegills and readers, the trout with a casting bubble and a fly on a leader of the feet four to six, but recently, I've been using for lining live shad flies for bass. The bar is set very well, easily handles small weights, and can easily handle a mouth four and a half large, half-pound bass with ease, and hell funner'n. I did not until very recently, for my part, I had a reel enough small to put in it, but I do not think it would work well. Boy, I was wrong …

Spring Fly Fishing Gear Tune-Up – Clean up of these fly lines

There is an almost infinite variety of fly lines available, some that cost extraordinary amounts. If you have money invested in a line of quality, you want to make sure that it lasts as long as possible.

The thing most important thing you can do is keep it clean. After each trip, take a little time and rinse with soap and water line. Stay away from detergents and use a mild handsoap. Detergents tend to dry the line and could result in its line of development of cracks in the outer layer. This of course will accelerate the damage the inner core of the line.

In recent years there has been a debate on the use of ArmorAll ® and the like. Fly fishers found to have used his coat seemed to have lines. Others who have spoken have suggested that this is only a short-term advantage and eventually chemicals ArmorAll ® on the lines of damage with regular use. I am not a chemist, and I have not done any study in the case so I can not advise you in a way or another. Bob Kloskowski of the International Fly Fishing Association interviewed Bruce Richards of Scientific fishermen and asked specifically about the use of ArmorAll ®. This is what Richards had to say about it:

"ArmorAll and 333 contain some plasticizers and lubricants and lubricate the surface of the lines temporarily. They also contain a small amount of detergent which theoretically could reduce the life of the line, but the impact would be minimal. These products can be used without significant negative effect, but the positive effect of lubrication is a very short time the product is washed quickly. "- 1997 Interview on NBC

The choice of baitcaster right?

The'm looking for all in the same price range. The first is a team low profile Diaw Earth, on the other Citic part is a low profile Shimano E, and the third is a catalyst for Quantum PT.
