Why Mike Leach being fired as coach of Texas Tech Red Raiders?
What did he do? And why?
Leach allegedly ordered a player, James Adam, being locked in a dark cupboard as punishment for his teams performance after James suffered a mild concussion brain. Leach denied it and said that this treatment was recommended by the training staff, who denied that allegation. Leach also owed a great advantage Texas Tech 31 December. He was dismissed on 30 December. Leach says he was fired out of its financial responsibility to him and used his treatment of James as an excuse.
