I have plants in my aquarium are plastic, all of which accumulate in the ground So I take out and put in a bowl of hot water, everyone dies. And when they're on the side of the glass called all of or attempt to destroy …. oh the battle is bad in your tank! They just keep coming back! I hope that helped …:)

Tropical Fish Tank for the first time, an introduction

Owning your own aquarium is great fun, and I have had with my own love for years! Over 60 million of us "fans" around the world, and if this is a hobby that interests you is worth a little time to learn what it's all about before you start.

So what is an aquarium? In simple terms, is a transparent container where you can keep, care for, observe and enjoy the live fish. The fishbowl with a fish only thing that counts, but what most people mean when they talk about aquarium fish tank is a large (usually rectangular) with several different types of fish and aquatic plants living in balance with the other.

There are two basic types of aquarium environment – fresh water and water salt. Fresh water is definitely easier for people who are new to the hobby, such as salt water (or "marine"), tanks make a great attention and ability to keep fish alive.

So the next step is probably to know what types of fish you like. If you're lucky, you have friends that fish can ask questions, but even a trip to your local pet store or specialty fish store will have plenty of good advice for employees sales. Tell them you are a beginner, and you wish to search in freshwater fish, and that will give you many options! Finding the fish caller will tell you what the temperature of your tank needs to be, and assuming a species is probably simpler.

Then I get a good book on basic care aquarium, and read it before you start!

Then start collecting tank and equipment. You want to find a robust aquarium is large enough to give you room to add fish as their experience grows. Useful home fish tanks ranging from about 11 liters (3 U.S. gallons) to about one cubic meter (300 U.S. gallons) in size.

You will need gravel or other substrate, on the bottom of the tank. You will need a filtration system to remove and phosphate in waste water, and a heater or cooler mechanism for maintaining proper water temperature. You may need an air pump to oxygenate the water, depending configuration of your tank. Also ask about a small chemical kit to detect and correct the pH balance in water.

You will want to investigate plants, rocks, and other "aquarium furniture" that enters the tank. Choose wisely because the wrong materials can be harmful or even toxic to fish!

Get your tank set up, and make sure the water temperature and pH balance is correct before returning to the store to buy your fish! If you done everything correctly, the fish will be healthy and happy, and you will learn fascinating new hobby and love!
