Where is the best place to go fishing for trout in Southern California?
I'm new to the sport of fishing and really enjoy fishing trout stream, in particular, but as I understand it, the current fishery is most common in central and upstate. I would appreciate any information on some major hot spots in the south.

In the county of San Diego, still farther south many lakes Wohlford, Dixon, Hodges lakes are my favorite and most productive Wohlford is my # 1. There are large lakes stored during the winter throughout So Cal to pick up a copy of Western Outdoor News (which is a weekly fishing show every week another lake where producing over Mexico somewhere from north to Shasta and covers the hills, low, salt water fishing as well.
